CLG MEMBERS JOIN RES ON SITE

Regular attendees of the Jack's Lane Wind Farm Community Liaison Group (CLG) accepted RES' invitation earlier this month to get up close to the turbines, receive a tour of the site and learn more about the policies and procedures that must be adhered to when constructing a wind farm to ensure the safety of the workforce.

Turbine Engineer Jonny Flowers accompanied the group on 11 March to explain the technical detail and answer questions from the visitors as the wind project neared full operation. Asisstant Site Manager James Dominiak and Community Relations Manager Sam Mayes went on to attend the formal (and penultimate) CLG meeting in the evening, the forum of which which has served to provide progress updates throughout the development and construction of the wind farm and the opportunity for personal Q&A with members of the public.

The CLG will meet once more in late 2015/early 2016 when an Asset Manager will be introduced from the Generation team and the membership will formally disband. Please continue to contact Sam Mayes with any queries in the meantime and beyond.
