JACK'S LANE WIND FARM

Jack's Lane Wind Farm lies between North Creake, Syderstone and Stanhoe, near Fakenham in North West Norfolk.

Construction work began in March 2014 with turbine deliveries taking place in the autumn. All six Nordex turbines were erected by the beginning of December 2014, each measuring 126.5m in height to the tip of the blade.

Jack's Lane Wind Farm became fully operational in April 2015, tiggering community benefits of £75,000 a year.

With an installed capacity of 15MW, Jack's Lane Wind Farm is capable of generating enough renewable electricity to meet the average annual requirements of more than 10,600 homes every year.* 

 

*The homes equivalent has been calculated by taking the predicted annual electricity generation of the site (based on RES analysis Jack’s Lane Wind Farm has a predicted capacity factor of 34.3%) and dividing this by the annual average electricity consumption figures from the Department of Energy and Climate Change 2013 (4128kWh).
